Great News! November 2014

GMO Free Humboldt    EUREKA, CA – The Humboldt County Genetic Contamination Prevention Ordinance, better known as Measure P, has been approved resoundingly by Humboldt County voters. According to final election-night returns posted by the county Elections Office, Measure P received support from more than 59% of voters. The measure bans the raising or growing of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in Humboldt County.

GMO  Free Maui    MAUI, HI – A Maui County Genetically Modified Organism Moratorium Initiative ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in Maui County, Hawaii, where it was approved.

Highly dedicated volunteers poured their time and energy into the Colorado initiative, which lost by a few percentage points.  And as of November 17th, Oregon votes are being recounted due to a close count!!!
